Uhm, ok, not so much. I haven’t written a thing and Script Frenzy started four days ago. It’s tough to find time to write but that’s the point in participating.
You dedicate one month to get one script done. It’s less overwhelming, and because you’re on deadline you don’t care if what you’ve written is solid gold. It doesn’t really matter. You just take pride in finally finishing a script.
I have an idea, and I’m looking forward to developing it further. Like any writer does, I’m taking something based on real events and making it much more interesting. It’ll, hopefully, be therapeutic to write this script.
After this weekend, I’ll be much more focused on writing. I’m a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding this Saturday, so that’s required a lot of preparation (dress fittings, errands, etc.). It’ll be a fun weekend, though!
