When Harry Met Sally (1989)

So, technically, I don’t think this really counts as a Christmas movie. It falls into the category of movies that have something Christmas-y in them. Parts of the story happen during Christmas, but it’s technically not a Christmas movie, you know?

Like how everyone’s raving about Die Hard this year. Why is that the “it” non-Christmas Christmas movie this year? Makes me wanna go watch that again. But I digress.

When Harry Met Sally is one of my all-time faves. It’s on my top five favorite movies ever. So, naturally, I’m including it here. It’s a total comfort film. Nora Ephron is one of my favorite screen writers.

Every time I watch it, I wonder if Harry and Sally will end up together. No matter how many times I’ve watched it. That’s either very pitiful (on my part) or very impressive (on the part of the actors and filmmakers). I am so “in it” every time I watch this movie. I just love it.

I’m a sucker for love stories. These couples are so cute. I wanna hug all of them. They way they tell their love story together (or over one another) is just wonderful.

Enough. I need to go watch this again. Immediately. I love this movie so much!
