My next film is Brewconomy, a documentary about N.C. craft beer.

My next film is Brewconomy, a documentary about N.C. craft beer.

Today is the premiere of Brewconomy, my newest documentary, which is about North Carolina craft beer and its positive impact on the state’s agriculture, community, and economy.

Brewconomy will screen at the Wells Fargo IMAX Theatre at Marbles in downtown Raleigh, N.C., starting at 3:30 PM. A panel discussion will follow at 5:00 PM in Venture Hall, which is in the same building as the theatre. We will have an afterparty at Crank Arm Brewing starting at 7:00 PM.

All events are free and open to the public, however, tickets are required for the screening. The panel discussion and after party do not require tickets to attend.

After the screening we will have a way for you to share your reactions. These handwritten cards are something I cherish forever, so please take a moment to write down what you thought of the film. I would be deeply honored to read your thoughts.

If you missed your chance to see Brewconomy today, please sign up for free email updates below. We will have additional screenings of the film statewide in 2015. We are also working hard to share the film digitally. Details will be shared via email so you never miss the news.

Thank you to everyone who has made this film possible: cast, crew, families, friends, fans, Kickstarter backers, media, the IMAX Theatre, our core team who’s been working on this for many years, and many others.

The art of making a film is one big collaboration. It’s because of these people that Brewconomy will screen this afternoon to a sold out crowd on the largest screen in North Carolina. That’s one serious accomplishment so please thank these people when you meet them!

We are so thrilled to finally share the finished film with you. We hope you enjoy it!
