Recently I finished reading James Cooper’s book Kickstarter for Filmmakers, after reading a few excerpts on Hope for Film. I’ve been studying Kickstarter campaigns, contributing to a few, and reading what I can about them–just to see if this crowd sourcing thing is something I might want to try.

The books is a worthwhile read if you’re contemplating crowd sourcing. There are some good tips and things to think through before you launch a campaign. The book is an easy read, too, so I breezed right through it.

Kudos to you, James Cooper, for putting this together; and thanks to Hope for Film for posting a few excerpts. It’s most appreciated.
