It’s been about a month since Derek and I got married. We had the tiniest, most intimate wedding we could manage. I wore a gorgeous Vera Wang dress. Then we honeymooned in Asheville, N.C., where we ate and drank the best food!
D and I have been so stupid-happy together since we started dating. I mean: grinning like idiots. I am so lucky to be married to this guy. He’s amazing. It’s been an awesome month, I’ll tell ya that much.
Now that the wedding planning stresses have subsided, we’ve been concentrating on getting the house in order. You know … clearing clutter, finding a home for everything in the house, and making it look pretty. It’s been a lot of work but it’s well worth it. Every time I walk into a room that’s tidied up and pretty, I feel the greatest sense of relief and peace and happiness. I want to spend more time in those rooms. They’re so enjoyable.
I’ve officially changed my last name, too! More on that soon. 🙂
