Beericana was awesome!

So happy I was able to attend the Beericana Craft Beer & Music Festival!

Yesterday was the Beericana Craft Beer and Music Festival in Holly Springs, N.C. It was absolutely incredible. Here are some of the reasons why I’m a huge fan.

Quick summary? No detail was overlooked, which is something I absolutely love and appreciate. Everything was run so well.

1. Getting there and parking was a breeze.

There were signs along the road that made you feel like you were definitely heading in the right direction. So reassuring. There were parking attendants helping at every turn, and making you feel welcomed. (Having been to big sports games, huge concerts, and fairs throughout my life the ease of parking is something I truly appreciate!)

As you got into the parking lot, you could see that taxis were there if you needed one. The parking attendants made it super to get from the car to the entrance. There were police everywhere, which set the tone. (No drinking and driving. No getting out of control.)

The parking attendants were pros. Parking was so easy and efficient.

2. The VIP hour was so relaxing.

We had about an hour and a half to mill about, casually sip on beers, and say hi to friends. I absolutely loved how chill the VIP hour felt. It wasn’t cramped, crowded, or too loud. There wasn’t anyone pushing me out of the way from behind, so they could refill their cup, which meant I could talk to the brewery reps. Very enjoyable.

This also meant that we didn’t wait in many lines. If we did wait, it wasn’t long. Everything ran so smoothly.

Plus, there was a VIP bathroom section. Huge bonus.

It felt like we had the place to ourselves during the VIP hour. We were able to mill about, say hey to friends, and sip on beers we really wanted to try. Very few lines and almost no waiting. Hooray!
The VIP tent was great!

Such a gorgeous day.

3. The set up was awesome.

Even when the big crowds came in around 1:30 pm, the place didn’t feel too crowded. There were plenty of restrooms for everyone. Quite the line up of food trucks. Picnic tables for eating, resting. A section for the music, so you could go hear it if you wanted (without being deafened by it otherwise).

There was a great section for hanging out and listening to music.

There was definitely a crowd there, though.

BONUS: Great weather! I know that’s totally out of the control of an event organizer, but the weather was seriously perfect on Saturday. It was sunny, not humid, breezy, and just warm enough. Perfecto.

Huge congrats to everyone involved. I had a really great time, and am so appreciative of the chance to enjoy craft beer in such a fine atmosphere. I loved it.
