The 2016 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival wrapped on Sunday, April 10th.
It was an incredible year at the festival. I’m still processing everything that transpired, and preparing for a few new posts on the TriFilm Society website.
Every year I walk into the fest giddy and excited. By the end of the festival, my mind has melted and I’m totally worn out. It’s the best kind of feeling, akin to a really great workout.
The Speakeasy panel discussions are one of my favorite things at @fullframefest. It’s part of what makes me feel connected to a global film community, on the right track, and ready for big conversations about the movies we’re making here in North Carolina. Left to right: Brian Newman, Merrill Sterritt, Danielle McCarthy-Boles, and Jake Craven. #fullframe #fullframefest #durm #durham #durhamnc #filmfest
If you’ve never attended the fest, I highly recommend you put it on your calendar right now. (No, seriously. Stop reading this and go mark April 6-9, 2017, so you won’t miss it.)
More to come soon. I’m still catching up on the post-fest R&R.
