First of all, I wanna say thank you. You’re incredible. I see that you come here on a regular basis to read what I have share. That means so much to me. It really does!
I feel like we’re already fast friends. But I’d love to get to know you better. I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to go about it.
You see, this website has been through many iterations. It’s changed with me, as my creative efforts have grown and changed. Recently I’ve been contemplating the future and thinking about making some more changes to this site. But I wanna make sure those changes don’t hurt our relationship.
Therefore, I wanna ask you something: would you share more about yourself?
You can use the comments section below to say hi. I’d love to know more about you and why you read this blog. Please don’t be shy.
Tell me, for example, are you a fellow filmmaker? Are you a wanna be filmmaker, trying to figure out how to get started? Or are you a loved one who hasn’t seen me in person in a while, and uses this blog to check up on what I’ve been doing?
I really appreciate having you here. I want to protect the good thing we’ve got going. The info you share will help me figure out the path forward, as this blog and website continues to grow and change.
Thanks for taking the time to help a sister out. Have a great day, my friend.
I’m a fan of your work and have become very interested in film and documentaries and very much looking forward to Full Frame in a few weeks.
I really enjoy your writing!
Thanks for being the first to comment, Kathy! I’m looking forward to Full Frame, too! Can’t wait! So glad you enjoy the work and writing. That’s very encouraging. 🙂
I initially found your site when I came across the Triangle Film meetup that you put together. I still haven’t been able to coordinate my schedule with the meetup but I did subscribe to your blog so that I would be notified of future meetups.
What I’ve found is that there is more to your blog than being reminded about future events. I’m a fellow filmmaker and am always looking to learn from those in the field. My passion lies in documentary filmmaking and it’s always nice to have someone local to ask questions and learn from. I enjoy reading what you have to say and also hope to see you around the halls at Full Frame!
Brad, thanks for taking the time to share! We’re working on another TriFilm event. I’ll post info on the blog once it’s finalized. I look forward to seeing you IRL soon!
You know me! I follow you through bloglovin’ to keep track of your escapades and re-live fun film making collaborative days.
Yes, I do know you, AB! We had so much fun. What are we going to work on next? I miss you!
