A few lessons learned while making “AK”

Making AK taught me so much. Some of these lessons are new, some are repeat reminders. I’m thankful for all of them. 1. Go make a movie. You learn more by doing than overthinking. I highly recommend to anyone interested in filmmaking to simply start making movies. Use what you’ve got, even if it’s the smartphone in your back pocket. What’s the latest on “AK”?

Last year, you heard me talk about a short film AK.  If you’re curious what’s happened with it since, this blog post is for you. Wanna skip to the end? The long and short of it is this: we’re working on a means to screen the finished piece locally sometime soon. I’ll share more details about that when things are more finalized. What’s AK? It was an incredible, unforgettable weekend. I am having withdrawal and desperately want to be on set again soon. The short film is now in post-production. If you’re unfamiliar with the post process,

Special Thanks: The Flourish Market

We recently filmed a new short, which is tentatively titled “AK”. It was a wild, wonderful weekend. I’m still catching my breath. One of the things that made the shoot special for me were new collaborations. We hear the word “collaboration” a lot as filmmakers – almost to the point where it’s a cliché – but it is sincerely one of my favorite things about the business. I genuinely love working with other entrepreneurs

“AK” Behind the Scenes Photos

Here are a few behind the scenes photos from Sunday’s shoot! We will keep uploading photos to my public Facebook page (Camden Watts). We know you’ve asked for this kind of stuff, and we want you to see it. Please take note that Facebook’s algorithms have changed, so you won’t see updates or photos in your newsfeed unless you like, comment, or share. You can also see a few behind-the-scenes photos on
